Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Cue & Chalk (“we”) handles information on cueandchalk.com. Cue & Chalk is operated by AppFloe Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 17280897), which is the data controller. We follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data stored on your device
Your player names, game settings, head-to-head record and any trial or purchase status are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
Playing online
When you create or join a room, your player name, your shots and your camera position are sent through our relay server (hosted by Cloudflare) to the other player in the room. This is passed straight on and not stored. A room code is temporary and exists only while players are connected.
Purchases
Premium is not on sale yet. When it is, web payments are processed by Stripe, who handle your card details; we never see or store them. We keep the email address you give at checkout, linked to your purchase, so you can restore Premium on another device. Restore codes are emailed through Resend. Stripe and Resend act under their own privacy policies. The legal basis is performing the contract with you; we keep purchase records for as long as tax law requires. In the iPhone and Android apps, purchases are handled by Apple or Google.
The free trial
The 7-day Premium trial is recorded on your device only.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your address and message, and use them to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Children
Cue & Chalk is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing support@dicedrop.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above.
